A good hardworking performance from the Lancing players. Sticking to their task and never giving up. 2-0 down at half time to preventable goals. Having had a great percentage of the ball it was a disappointing scoreline that flattered their opponents.
The second half it would have been easy to give up and not compete but it was totally the opposite and Lancing dominated the majority of the play. Still conceding a goal to go 3-0 down against the run of play the lads still didn't give up and deserved their goal from Sean Skipper. Was it a cross or a shot ? He will say a shot from a tight angle 30 yards out. I will say a good deep cross that sailed over the keeper into the net. Either way it was very well deserved to player and the team.
Fantastic work ethics and an encouraging performance one to certainly build on.
Keep up the efforts lads a win should be soon coming.
