Steyning Town U18's 4
Lancing U18's 1

Another game where the scoreline flattered the opponents.
When will Lancing get the result their endeavour deserves ?
Having gone 2-0 down in the first half and at times against the run of play.
In the second half Lancing laid seige to the Steyning goal and went close time and time again. Eventually pulling a goal back it looked like it was soon to be Lancing's day but the equaliser just wouldn't go in.
Steyning then scored on the break to make it 3-1 and to add to the injustice they scored a 4th with virtually the last kick of the game.
The results will come, the performances deserve it. The attitudes are superb. The players must feel things will change.
A special mention to the brilliant performance of the official of the game. So often going unrewarded but today's was outstanding.
