Lancing FC appoint a new management team

By Jack Taylor

Lancing Football Club have appointed a new management team to lead the Lancers for the 2019/20 season.

“His enthusiasm is infectious, he has assembled a quality management team and his plans fit perfectly with where we are looking to take the club over the coming seasons” Steve Taylor, Chairman

Lancing FC are pleased to appoint Naim Rouane (Naz) as the club's new First Team Manager for the 2019/20 season.

Naz will be well known to many of our supporters having been captain of Lancing back in the 2015/16 season. More recently, Naz has been playing football in the Bostik league with Haywards Heath Town, where he was captain of the first team, also acting as joint manager of Haywards Heath U18s, with coach, David Altendorff.

Naz is joined by David Altendorff who will be Assistant Manager and Head Coach. As well as coaching Haywards Heath U18s, he has also been manager of the Sussex Schools FA U18s for the last three years and taking Sussex U18s to the finals of the Schools County Cup only a couple of days ago. Naz and David are joined by Assistant Manager & player, Kane Louis, who played 36 games in the Bostik league for Haywards Heath last season.

“We were extremely impressed by Naz during the interviews” said Lancing FC Chairman, Steve Taylor, “His enthusiasm is infectious, he has assembled a quality management team and his plans fit perfectly with where we are looking to take the club over the coming seasons”.

“We had already started to make changes to the structure of the teams below the first team and the appointment of Naz and his team fits perfectly with our plans” added Daniel Fuller-Smith who is overseeing the U16s to U23s. “We have recruited an FA Level 2 coach for all three of our development teams to ensure that we offer the best development we can for our youth players, aspiring for a place in the first team."

The Lancing FC Committee look forward to working with Naz, David and Kane ahead of the 2019/20 season!
