Late goal kills Lancing
By Danny Wood
Heath scored with 3 minutes to go to rob all three points in a potential stale mate.
With more changes made due to Finney, Law, Momah, Muller, Saint, Smith, Stevens still unavailable
Smart was a late inclusion in the squad and with Aughterson unable to make it late on Gaffa Wood
was named on the bench.
the game was pretty much a stale mate with both teams not really troubling the keepers and at
half time it finished 0-0.
with all the changes in the 2nd half Heath brought on there tall centre forward apparently there player of the season
who was probably there best player when he came on, chances were a bit better in the second half Symes made way for
Lammi, Smart for Jackson, Guile for Pettit and Moulton for Munday.
the last change is when Gaffa Wood came on for the injured Nagle making his one and only appearance of the season
and with his first touch played a ball in behind the Heath backline for Lammi to deliver shutting up the visitors bench who were taking the
piss moments before.
a lapse of concentration for the first time in the game saw an overlap and a driven ball across the Lancing 6 yard box
was miss kicked into the bottom corner for 1-0. there was one last chance for the Lancers when Wood's cross flicked onto Richards fell to Tom Butler who's shot was saved by the Heath Keeper.
Disappointing as our inconsistent season continued and more dropped points.
